If youre anything like me and have expensive perfume taste (guilty as charged), then youll always be on the hunt for luxury perfume dupes. With some of our favourite high street brands, such as MS, going viral for creating unreal dupes of big-budget perfumes, including Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, Jo Malone Wood Sage Sea Salt, Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium and many more, theres one dupe that weve always struggled to get our hands on, until now. Say hello to the best Maison Francis Baccarat Rouge dupe on the high street: Who Is Elijah Nomad Eau De Parfum.
If youve never heard of Who Is Elijah, well, this Australian fragrance brand only launched in the UK in October 2024 and is now finally available to shop at Boots. A female-founded brand, Who Is Elijah is marketed as a forever accessible fragrance house that creates long-lasting and luxurious perfumes without hefty price tags.
The Nomad perfume has already gone viral on TikTok for having similar notes to the celebrity-loved perfume Baccarat Rouge 540. Worn by the likes of Rihanna, Olivia Rodrigo and Molly-Mae Hague, its floral yet woody scent has even got us spellbound, too.
While the original may be irreplaceable, Who Is The Elijah Nomad, £80, is a fabulous alternative. When first applied to the skin, it opens with a delicate sweetness of saffron and jasmine. However, when it settles, its notes of rich amber and creamy woods are layered over the top, creating an irresistible yet oudy fragrance that stays on you all day and night.

With similar notes to Maison Francis Baccarat Rouge 540, Nomads fragrance is oudy, yet sweet and has an irresistible finish that lasts all day.
First impressions As someone who is obsessed with high-end perfumes, I always struggle to deviate from my go-tos, which include Chanel Chance and Yves Saint Laurent Libre. However, when this Who Is Elijah perfume landed on my desk, I was immediately drawn to its simplistic yet chic packaging, which actually reminded me of Byredos elegant designs.
©Christina Geggus Pleasantly surprised by this gorgeous scent, this Nomad perfume immediately reminded me of the Baccarat Rouge 540 (which Ive only smelt in Selfridges, may I add), but I have completely become obsessed with Nomad since. Now my must-have perfume, this fragrance is sexy yet feminine and floral, making it perfect for days in the office, as well as date night.
How I tested Who Is Elijah Nomad After receiving this perfume just before Christmas, I have regularly worn it for over three months now, and I can hand on heart say, Ive come to love it even more as time has gone on. Spraying it most mornings before I go to work or at the weekends, I can count a handful of times when strangers and friends have asked me what scent I am wearing (the best compliment ever, if you ask me).
©Christina Geggus/Bauer Ive also made sure to check in with myself throughout the day to see whether the perfume has lasted or whether I need a top-up. In my opinion, this perfume is really long-lasting, but depending on how strong you like your perfume, I have sometimes had to top it up before going out for post-work drinks or dinner. But I think thats just my personal preference, as I do like my fragrance to be STRONG.
Final verdict: Is Who Is Elijah Nomad worth it? Absolutely, I would buy this perfume again in a heartbeat. While there are plenty of Baccarat Rouge dupes, this, by far, is up there for being one of the most affordable yet comparable dupes on the high street. Also, with a price point of just under £100, Nomads luxurious yet romantic scent justifies its middle-of-the-range price, but as Ive said before, its nowhere near as steep as Baccarat Rouge 540, which is £245 for 70ml. So, if youre in the market for a Baccarat Rouge dupe that gives the real thing a run for its money, we highly recommend adding Who Is Elijah Nomad to your shopping basket.
