This just in: Amazon Prime Day 2023 is happening on July 11-12. The savings event has become an annual phenomenon, where the online retailer drops prices on items across all categories. Included in the savings every year are incredible Prime Day TV deals, and fortunately, we're already seeing some noteworthy early TV deals worth shopping right this minute.
Right now, there are TVs from top brands like Sony, Samsung, and Amazon itself that are dropping in price up to $1,600 off—and this is only the beginning. Last year, we saw everything from small TVs (think 32-40 inch screens) drop as low as $100 and large 70-inch screens for under $1,000. This year, we are expecting to see even bigger price drops, as OLED and QLED TV prices are generally trending down as the technology becomes more widely available.
We'll be updating this page with more information and more Prime Day TV deals as we get closer to the shopping holiday. Click "Save" at the top of his article to quickly come back to it if there's a screen you're looking for that's not yet seeing a discount. In the meantime, if you're ready for a new TV now and don't want to wait, we've started curating a list of the best TV deals on Amazon that you can shop now before items sell out.
Absolutely. Amazon Prime Day drops prices on items of all categories, and in the past 5+ years that we've been covering Prime Day, TVs have been one of the hottest items during the sale, thanks to prices that are comparable to other major sale events like Black Friday/Cyber Monday and Memorial Day. Even in the weeks before Amazon Prime Day 2023, there are deals of up to 49 percent off TVs from major brands like Samsung and Sony.

Samsung 65-inch Class Neo QLED 8K QN800B Series Smart TV
This 55-inch TV from Samsung has dropped $900 in price, which is pretty significant compared to other deals we've seen so far this year. OLED screens, like this one, offer a deep, strong color contrast between brights and blacks. The S95B Series screen features 4K upscaling to make your non-4K content look as close to 4K resolution as possible. The TV also has Comfort Mode, which intelligently adapts the display based on the sunrise and sunset which claims to reduce blue light and in turn, eye strain.
The steepest discount we're seeing so far, this Samsung QLED model is $1,600 off, dropping the price well below $2K. The 8K screen means seriously impressive image quality, thanks to the AI processor that works to upscale your HD and 4K content as close to 8K as possible. You'll also experience Samsung's Ultra Viewing Angle and anti-reflection screen. The TV is ultra slim so even the large screen should blend seamlessly into your home decor.
The QN90B series features Quantum Mini LEDs and a Neo Quantum 4K processor for upscaling content. Samsung's Ultra Viewing Angle utilizes an anti-glare screen, so if your living room or bedroom gets a lot of light during the day you don't have to worry about losing picture quality to glare. The TV has Object Tracking Sound+ which works to place you in the middle of the sound for a surround sound experience. You can also set the TV to Comfort Mode similar to the S95B Series TV above.

This premium smart TV has a Full Array LED display that shows off deep blacks and high brightness that allow details to come through while you're watching. The 120hz refresh rate of the TV helps keep motion clear, crisp, and almost blur-free. The screen has traditionally placed speakers as well as Acoustic Multi-Audio and Dolby Atmos support for a clear sound experience that connects your audio and visual experience seamlessly.
The technology of an OLED pick delivers super clear color contrast and deep, inky blacks. You'll experience enhanced, blur-free motion during sports games and streaming thanks to the cutting-edge processor, billions of accurate colors that are easy for your eyes to process, and more. The speaker for this TV is actually built into the screen itself to give you a truly immersive experience. We'd recommend an OLED TV if you're in a room that doesn't get too much direct sunlight in order to enjoy the best picture quality.
Sony TVs skew expensive because they're typically packed with the latest technology. For instance, this TV has a 4K HDR Processor X1 that emits an undeniably smooth, clear, and detailed picture. The screen also has a 120hz refresh rate for crisp images even with fast motion (think: sports!) and a dedicated game mode for connection to your PlayStation5. This early Prime Day sale is noteworthy since it brings this 85-inch Sony model under $2K.

A great pick for a college dorm or kid's room, this 32-inch screen is small but solid. The screen has support for HDR10 which will enhance picture quality on low-resolution content. The built-in Fire TV interface allows for quick and easy access to streaming apps and downloaded games, and if 32 inches is a bit too small, the is also on sale at a slightly lower rate.
Whether you're plugging in gaming equipment into one of the four HDMI ports, streaming movies, or watching sports, this 4K UHD TV pick has a clear viewing picture. Simply pressing a button on the remote gives you access to voice control with Alexa over the pre-installed Fire TV interface.
It can be difficult to find a solid QLED screen under $1K, especially at a 65-inch screen size. Thankfully, Amazon has models that offer quality screens at lower costs. Amazon’s QLED Omni Series screen features adaptive brightness, tailoring it based on the lighting of the room your TV is in. The screen has 96 individual dimming zones to support high contrast between deep blacks and bright colors. Plus, you can go hands-free using voice control with Alexa.
A 75-inch TV under $800 is a gem of a find, and this model from Amazon comes with the convenience of a hands-free experience since the built-in microphone allows you to control the TV through Alexa. The TV also features HDR 10, which creates sharper contrasts between colors and blacks, and a bright display. That, paired with 4K UHD picture quality, means a crisp display that's full of bright and balanced hues.
