I test beauty products for a living – and my favourite everyday moisturiser is £7
I test beauty products for a living – and my favourite everyday moisturiser is £7

Whether you have a 12-step skincare routine, complete with an LED face mask and ice rolling, or prefer to keep things simple with the trusty cleanse, tone and moisturise - a hard-working moisturiser is the crux of any beauty shelf.

Now the weather has officially turned (hello, puffer coats and dry skin!) Im looking for something super hydrating, that sits well under make-up and isnt stuffed with irritating fragrances. But as a self-confessed skincare snob who has tried luxury brands, high-performance actives and pretty much every beauty product under the sun - I was extremely surprised to love a £7 moisturiser so much, that its now my everyday non-negotiable. Honestly, its a game-changer.

A month ago, I caved and ordered the Simple Ceramide Rich Moisturiser, £6.66 after reading the thousands of rave reviews on Amazon and to my surprise, its just as good as high-end brands more than ten times the price.

  1. Simple Repairing Rich Face Cream

Despite being an ultra-rich cream, the formula is delightfully non-greasy and lightweight. It absorbs into your complexion instantly for speedy plumping action and gives you a natural, I-drink-green-juice-for-breakfast gleam. The best part is its packed with 22% ceramide boosters, which expertly help repair your skin barrier. A moisturiser for the people.

A little goes a long way and at just £6.66 from Amazon, one tub will last you ages. Plus, with your affordable moisturiser sorted, it means you can spend your money on sexy supercharged active serums like vitamin C, azelaic acid and retinol.

Used this for only a week and my skin looks and feels so much more supple, moisturised and fresh, wrote one reviewer. My skin is menopausal so was looking for something more hydrating and this gives me all I need.

Another added, I love the feel of this, non-greasy and has no real smell. I use it twice a day and it really has made a difference to my skin (Im 55) - feels more soft and not so dry looking.

Buy it now and thank me later.
