Despite having a perfectly functioning oven, I find myself using air fryers more than any other appliance. I’ve owned one for the better part of a decade, and it’s great because it allows me to ditch my pots and pans and make meals in less time than the oven. It also gives just about any food a perfectly crispy, crunchy texture without the use of excess oils—an added plus in my book.
Over the years, I’ve had basket-type air fryers, and even ones with rotisserie capabilities, but I recently landed on one that has captured my heart and became my new go-to kitchen gadget. The Midea Flexify Air Fryer isn’t your typical air fryer. It features eye-catching stainless steel exterior, stunning French doors, and a whopping 24.6-quart capacity that is big enough to make a batch of cookies, a loaf of bread, and much more. Not to mention, it’s on sale at Amazon right now.
$170 $150 at Amazon Upon arrival, the exterior design of the air fryer immediately caught my eye; it looks like a mini oven from a high-end kitchen, with a sleek stainless steel body, bright LCD digital display, and gorgeous French doors that not only look incredible, but also make opening and closing it smooth and simple. In addition to these stylish details, the air fryer also features functional buttons and a dial that allows you to easily navigate its many cooking modes.
Speaking of cooking modes, the appliance has 10 of them (roast, broil, bake, toast, air fry, pizza, slow cook, dehydrate, warm, and reheat) to help you prepare a variety of foods. The buttons control the cooking modes, temperature setting (up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit), and cook time, which can also be conveniently adjusted using the dial. One detail I really appreciate is the five-degree increments on the temperature dial, which ensures precision cooking.
Outside of the many cooking modes, the air fryer’s 26.4-quart size makes it possible to cook and bake just about anything—trust me I’ve tried. So far, I’ve made a dozen cookies, a fluffy loaf of bread, and two seasoned chicken breasts, and I can confidently say that no matter what I made, everything came out just as I wanted it to. The brand even says it can fit a 12-inch pizza! With all the great features and ample size, I now rarely use my oven for most meals and bakes and opt for the air fryer instead.
The 7 Best Cast-Iron Skillets, According To Our Testing Another noteworthy aspect about the air fryer is its heating capabilities. Designed with one convection fan and six heating tubes, it not only evenly heats and cooks your food, but it can also heat up very quickly. No more having to wait for the preheat temperature or worrying about forgetting to set it. Plus, it has a bright, built-in light so you can always keep an eye on what you’re making—a personal favorite function of mine!
Last but not least, the air fryer comes with everything you need, including a crumb tray, a baking sheet, backing rack, and air fry basket perfect for crisping up french fries, chicken wings, or bite-sized appetizers.
The Midea Air Fryer is well worth your attention. The sleek design, multiple cooking modes, large capacity, and bakeware accessories make it the perfect addition to your kitchen. Grab it while it’s on sale at Amazon right now, and check out my favorite air frying essentials below.
