If you've just celebrated a holiday or birthday and you've received an Apple gift card, congrats on the major score! Before you can spend it, you'll need to know how to redeem Apple gift cards. The process is straightforward, and it can be done on virtually any device with a connection to the Apple App Store.
Once you've redeemed your Apple gift card, you can spend this money on Apple products, apps, subscriptions, games, music, movies, and more. Plus, you can access any digital products you buy across devices that you're signed in with your Apple ID.
Here's how to redeem Apple gift cards, so you can enjoy this versatile gift as you see fit!
Locate the 16-digit code on the back of your gift card. (You may need to peel or scratch off the label first).Open the App Store on your device.At the top right of the "Today" screen, tap the sign-in button, your photo, or your initials.Tap "Redeem Gift Card or Code." (If you don’t see this, sign in with your Apple ID first.)
Tap "Use Camera" and follow the instructions on the screen to upload the card info instantly. You can also tap "Enter Code Manually," then follow the instructions on the screen to input the card info yourself.
