Clove oil is a thin oil that is used to make painting medium. It is a thin slow drying oil and will increase the drying time of most mediums. It is often mixed with balsam copaiba and lavender oil and can also be used to make pen oil. Many painters like to add clove oil for its painting properties as well as its aromatic smell. Imported from Germany, it is available in a 1/2 pint. California residents see Prop 65 Warnings
