Product Description
Tarmond Heavygear EP-S synthetic gear oils perform an exceptional performance in protecting the industrial gearboxes and help extending oil life in extreme conditions. They are formulated for efficient lubrication of industrial enclosed gear drives operating under extreme conditions of shock-load, speed and temperature. Synthetic Gear Oils reduce energy consumption in many gearboxes versus conventional oil to enable problem-free operation and increased productivity. Formulated with carefully selected synthetic base stocks in combination with advanced technology of EP additives, these fluids have exceptional oxidation and thermal properties. The high viscosity index of these oils leads to less change in viscosity with changes in temperature. It performs excellent protection against wear such as scuffing and micropitting. Heavygear EP-S series offer a great potential for improved lubrication of gearbox and bearings. They have outstanding rust and corrosion protection in relative to mineral gear oils. They are highly compatible with ferrous and non-ferrous metals, elastomers and seals . Reduced fluid friction properties enable lower operating temperatures and helps improving gear efficiency.
Application
Tarmond EP-S series Gear Oils are recommended for enclosed industrial gear drives used in the paper, steel, textile and cement industries. It is recommended for highly loaded gearboxes, steel-on-steel spurs, helical, and bevel gears. They are especially recommended for applications that may be subject to micropitting: especially heavily loaded gearboxes with surface-hardened tooth metallurgies. It may also be used in gear applications where extreme low and/or high temperatures are encountered.
While Tarmond EP-S Gear Oil Series are compatible with mineral oil based products, admixture may detract from their performance. Consequently it is recommended that before changing a system to one of the EP-S Gear Series, it should be thoroughly cleaned out and flushed to achieve the maximum performance benefits.
Benefits
• Provides full protection of bearings in gears and gearboxes, thus extending service life.
• It reduces energy by reducing operating temperatures as it quickly removes heat from the system.
• A wide range of applications, from low temperatures to very high temperatures, is available.
• Thanks to its synthetic structure, oxidation resistance is very high and provides long service life.
• Reduces maintenance costs and increases operating efficiency.
• Protects gears against corrosion and corrosion even under the most difficult conditions.
• It is not affected by temperature changes, it can maintain lubrication tasks for a long time.
• They can be used in all kinds of gear system thanks to their wide viscosity range. Reduces oil diversity by providing a wide range of applications.
• It extends oil change periods and saves.
• Reduces initial wear.
• It works in harmony with the sealing elements.
• Thanks to its high thermal stability, it does not form deposits and deposits at high temperatures and maintains its chemical stability.
